Orange Slices in Syrup
San Giuliano's Sicilian blood oranges are sliced crosswise into 1/4-inch thick slices, blanched for a few minutes to remove their bitterness, then gently caramelized in simple syrup until shiny and tender. With the most delicate touch, the slices are stacked into a jar and covered with a dense reduction of orange juice, simple syrup, and a splash of organic brandy.Top a perfectly roast duck or turkey with the orange slices a few minutes before removing from the oven. Use in decorating cheesecake, cupcakes, or a traditional Cassata Siciliana. Transform any cake into an upside-down cake: simply cover the bottom of the cakepan with orange slices and syrup then top with cake batter and bake. Flip after baking for a stunning presentation! Use the boozy syrup in mixed cocktails and finish with a whole orange slice.

The Belfiore family of Masseria Mirogallo hand-picks these 2 to 3 inch-long peppers and carefully packs 50 to 60 peppers into a jar along with wine vinegar and extra virgin olive oil produced entirely at their farm. Use anytime you want to add heat to a dish! Dice finely and add to a simple aglio e olio pasta or use in place of red pepper flakes when making an arrabbiata sauce. Sliver and top a pizza, porchetta sandwich, or swordfish steak.

After 150 years of making the traditional Tuscan cookie, the Pandolfini family embarked on a new biscotto adventure. They replaced the almonds of the classic biscotti with large chunks of dark chocolate and packed them in their iconic blue bags with a bright red tabstill tied up with string, of course.
